Jeremy Lightfoot
Jeremy Lightfoot was a law scholar at New College, Oxford, graduating in 2005. He sat the Bar Vocational Course at the College of Law, London, for which he was awarded the main Lincoln’s Inn scholarship, the Lord Mansfield Scholarship, together with the Hardwicke Entrance Award. Jeremy achieved a grade of ‘Outstanding’ in his bar school exams, in recognition of which he was awarded a Buchanan prize. He was named ‘Student of the Year’ by Lincoln’s Inn and was called to the Bar in 2006.
Jeremy joined Stone Chambers in 2007, having undertaken a commercial and common law pupillage at 4 Pump Court during which he gained experience across a wide range of commercial law, including shipping and maritime work, construction, insurance and professional negligence.
Jeremy is currently developing a broad commercial practice in all areas of Chambers’ work. He appears regularly in the County Courts
