Name
Roger Kennell
Roger Kennell was called to the Bar of England and Wales by Inner Temple in 2004. Before commencing his career at the Bar he studied at Worcester College, Oxford, gaining a first class degree in Jurisprudence (Law with German Law). Roger also spent two years studying law at the University of Konstanz, Germany, first as part of his undergraduate degree and then to complete a Masters degree in German and Comparative Law.
Roger has a broad commercial practice, specializing in all aspects of shipping and maritime work, carriage of goods, sale of goods, insurance and reinsurance, including conflicts of law/jurisdictional issues. Prior to joining Stone Chambers he completed a twelve-month pupillage at the commercial and insurance/reinsurance set, 7 King’s Bench Walk (Chambers of Gavin Kealey QC and Julian Flaux QC).
