This seminar considers how judgments and arbitration awards can be enforced against States. This includes the following:

The impact of State immunity on the enforcement of judgments/arbitration awards obtained against foreign States.
Obtaining freezing injunctions against foreign States.
Enforcing against a foreign State's assets within the United Kingdom, including interest due under sovereign bonds paid through English banks and money held in English bank accounts.
