Our Policy
We aim to recruit at least one new junior member every year. Often, this will be one of our pupils, although we also consider applications from outstanding candidates who have undertaken pupillage in other sets.
Our wide range of work enables us to provide pupils and new junior tenants with a broad experience, including a substantial amount of their own advocacy from the second six months pupillage onwards. Although members normally come to specialise in a particular area of the law, we consider this early general experience to be of great benefit in subsequent career development.
Stone Chambers has a policy of expanding at all levels. As part of this policy, we are interested in recruiting established practitioners with experience in any field of commercial litigation and welcome applications from such practitioners.
We welcome those who want to gain some insight into life at the Bar by way of a mini-pupillage.
